Snow Day

We've been getting plenty of snow here lately. Spencer is thrilled about it. At least someone is!

One day he wanted to go out sooo bad. I wasn't quite so enthusiastic, but I bundled us all up and we went out. Within five minutes, Carson had a runny nose, wouldn't keep his mittens on, and kept falling down and crying because he could barely move. While trying to keep him happy and myself dry, I was expected to produce a snowman of epic proportions. Luckily I was able to convince my eldest child that it was best to keep the baby happy and take him inside, so the excursion didn't last as long as I feared it might.

"So happy together..."
Today was storytime at the library. The theme was germs and getting sick. The story lady passed around a small package to represent germs and demonstrate how easily illness is passed along. Spencer didn't say anything about it until tonight at his bedtime snack. He thoughtfully remarked, "Those pretend germs really gave me the sicks!" I guess even pretending grossed him out!
Carson had the opportunity of watching his big brother pee standing up tonight. Apparently he's never seen such a marvelous trick and thought it was hilarious. He giggled and giggled. Good incentive for future potty training, I suppose.

The snow pictures are so cute. You and Andy seem to be in your prime -- never looked better. We are still laughing about the forehead pillows.
