Halloween was pleasantly warm this year. We went to a neighborhood "Trunk or Treat," where everybody gathers in the church parking lot, decorates the trunk of their car, and then the kids just walk up and down the aisles of the parking lot for candy. It's still light out, the kids get tons of candy quickly, and it's a lot safer! Spencer had a good time, and Carson went through the motions although he wasn't sure why we dressed him up like a bumblebee and paraded him around.

Spencer had a Halloween party at preschool, so he got double the fun. Here he is just before his ride picked him up.... He's a turtle, if you can't tell.

That scarecrow seems a little smaller every year!

At the Trunk or Treat

Carson had a hard time sitting up straight with his stinger in the back.

For the benefit of our readers--the view from behind.

Carson would have been satisfied with one package of Smarties. He clutched them in his fat little hand all evening.

The sultry candy lady--hah!
