The Athlete

I signed up Spencer for a community sports skills class. They learn throwing, catching, kicking, and batting, etc. The first week they did soccer. It was hilarious. Way more entertaining than a professional game. There were little 3-5 year-olds running all over the field, everywhere but where they were supposed to go. They were so proud when they scored for the wrong team! We forgot the camera for football last week, but they're going to play it again on Wednesday. We'll try to get some video of it for our readers' enjoyment.
Here are the baseball pictures. It was chaos that day, too, but it was great fun.
The teacher requested some parents to assist in the outfield. Spencer and Andy played third base together. Andy would just pick up the little players and carry them where they needed to be, cheering all the way.

Spencer, your Daddy never could stay out of a game. You're so lucky Daddy got to be there with you. Grandma used to cheer Daddy on when he played sports by yelling, "Way to go, Andy!"

Andy never looks so tall as when he stands next to his boys(at least for the first 15 yrs or so.)

Andy have you grown a foot or two?
