Nervous
Tonight I was chatting with Spencer about his upcoming birthday tomorrow. We talked about the excitement of turning five and all the fun things we were going to do. Then he got serious and said, "You know why I'm afraid to be five?" Surprised, I asked, "No, why are you afraid?" He said, "Because I don't want you to leave me at school." My heart turned to mush. I assured him I would never leave him if he didn't feel comfortable. I know how he feels. The first day of school is so hard, but I think he will have a lot of fun once he gets there and starts doing things. I sure hope he doesn't feel stressed about it all day tomorrow. Poor little boy. He's so like his parents.

Spencer, we know you may be nervous about school but don't worry, Mom won't leave until you are ready. Grandma has an idea that Mom & Dad can take you to school on your first day.
Doesn't that just turn you into a big pile of goo!?! I love it when little boys just love there mom's so much!!
