Carson

Carson just keeps getting more personality. He has also developed a bit of a temper. He clenches his fists and his teeth, then screams in fury. Then he looks at me with a fiery glare, like "Hah! So there!!" After that, he goes about his business, pleasant as ever, like nothing happened. This could be scary!

Poor baby--he has developed allergies this spring. The doctor gave us some samples of Zyrtec, which is supposedly "non-sedating." This was the result shortly after the first dose....

Everything in Spencer's room is cooler than his own. He loves to get into the books and he will sit and "read" them for a long time. Unfortunately, he's not very tidy about it!

I probably already posted this one under "Packing Peanuts," but I think he looks so cute with all that styrofoam stuck on his hair!

He has reached the age when glasses are cool, and he actually keeps them on for a while. He must have his shades on whenever we go somewhere. I get a lot of bemused smiles and comments about movie stars when we go to the grocery store because they both wear their glasses throughout the trip.

We have a magnetic Mr. Potato Head toy, with all kinds of little magnet clothes and accessories. Carson thought he'd try on Mr. Potato Head's tiny glasses. Not quite big enough.

Shoveling the playground. This was a lovely day not long ago when it actally felt like springtime.

Every morning when Daddy goes to work, Spencer and Carson wait by this window for a "window kiss." Daddy goes outside, puts the newspaper on the porch for me, and gives the boys a goodbye kiss through the screen, no matter the weather. It is a new tradition, invented by Spencer.

Carson's new thing is firemen. He is crazy about this classic little book I got, called "The Fire Engine Book." We have read it more times than I can count. I finally had to put the fireman hat away for a while because there was too much arguing about who could wear it all the time.
