Spencer went to his first soccer practice today. It was sooo exciting! We went to buy some cleats and shin guards yesterday. He's been wanting to wear them ever since. Finally he got to put them on tonight. He thought about soccer all day long and at one point mentioned that he would be so good, "the bigger kids will say, 'Whoa! Look at that man go!!' " His team is called the Dragons, and they are the yellow team. What could be better? (Yellow is his very favorite color.) He also got his favorite number (10) on his jersey. Now he wants to play soccer ALL the time!!
He was very worried about who would play goalie. I guess he got a turn!
This is his new friend, Addie. They were all supposed to stand in a circle and holds hands while listening to instructions. The two of them continued holding hands long after everyone else had stopped. He is a ladies' man!!
